Meet Ms. Gavin
Hi! My name is Ms. Gavin and I am excited to be your teacher this year! This will be my 8th year teaching at the Batch. :) I taught fourth grade for 3 years before teaching third grade for the past 4 years. I look forward to having a wonderful year together in Room 25. :)
I grew up in Burlington, MA and graduated from Burlington High School in 2010. After high school, I attended Providence College where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary/Special Education in 2014. Then, I attended graduate school at Boston College where I received my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Special Education in 2016.
When not at the Batch, I enjoy spending time with family and friends! I love to travel, read, spin and hike! I especially love to play tennis with fellow Batch teachers at local parks so be on the lookout! :)
Fun Facts:
I studied abroad in Florence, Italy and London, England.
I taught English to children in the Dominican Republic.
I was a cheerleader for 15 years! I LOVED cheering for the Providence College basketball team, especially at the Big East and March Madness tournaments. Go Friars!
