2021 Summer Company Dance Camps June 8 & 9th

Company Try-out Camp - $135.00

Ages 5+, 6:00-8:00pm

Does your child want to take dance to another level? The NRDA company team is an award-winning competition dance team that prides itself on great training and teamwork. We train dancers in many genres and encourage them push themselves personally and to excel as a team. During this try-out camp, we will have workshops with NRDA staff in: jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, acro and ballet. Company dancers must take at LEAST 3 dance classes in the FALL - SPRING 2021-22 season and one class must be ballet. This camp is the audition and is MANDATORY. You will be notified by e-mail if you have made our team 2-3 weeks after camp. Your dancer’s competition class schedule and recommended recreation classes will come 6 weeks later. If selected to be on our team, your dancer must also attend the MANDATORY company technique camp August 10 & 11th

Pre-Company Try-out Camp - $85.00

Age 5-8 (ONLY), 5:00-6:00pm

Not ready for the above dance company commitment, but think your kiddo is? We have the answer! This year we will again have a Pre-Company Team. These dancers should be 5-8 years old ONLY (can turn 9 after Jan 1st to fit age requirement). Our pre-company team will be placed in either a jazz, acro, hip-hop, or tap competition team. Some pre-company dancers maybe offered a spot on more than 1 team. Our pre-company team will attend 1 or 2 local dance competitions with our NRDA Company Team. A few rules☺: Dancer must purchase our NRDA Company Coat (usually about $125.00) and must take at least 3 dances classes total (we recommend ballet). Please send me questions or concerns, I’m happy to answer. These pre-company dancers will NOT attend the company technique camp in August.

Sewing Camp - $85.00

Ages 6-10, 9:30-11:30am Age 11+, 11:30-1:30pm

Join us for a three-day tumbling, musical theater, and dance camp as we bring the many musicals to LIFE! We will learn correct tumbling skills daily, have fun doing acting games and learn dances to fun musical soundtracks. This is a great camp for boys and girls. Please dress your camper in clothes they can move in and no shoes. Also pack a light snack and water each day.

Tik-Tok Camp - $85.00

Ages 7 – 13, 11:30-1:30pm

Love Tik-Tok & want to learn a bunch of fun dances? This camp is for you! We will keep all the dances & songs age appropriate. We plan to post some of these fun dances on our Tik-Tok account. Please dress your camper in clothes they can move in and no shoes, also a light snack each day and water.

Ballet Intensive Levels IV/V - $85.00

Ages 13+, 1:30-3:15 *company members 13+ plan on attending Pointe Students Only- 3:15 – 4:00

Children will have SEW much fun learning valuable life skills in this basic hand sewing camp. Each day will offer a blend of structured, age-appropriate activities and design time. Kids will be given the power to choose the colors and designs for the projects they will complete during the week. No sewing experience necessary! ** $10.00 material fee

Musical Theater & Tumble Camp - $85.00

2021 Summer Dance Camps

Once upon a time at NRDA, young princesses came from near and far to spend 3 fun-filled days as princess chic.

Join us as we dance with Belle (Tuesday), Elsa (Wednesday), and Ariel/Moana (Thursday). Each day we will do a related princess craft and learn proper ballet technique, while having a magical princess experience. Please dress your camper in clothes they can move in and no shoes. Also pack a light snack and water each day. Optional - dress as a princess each day.

Fancy Nancy Camp - $85.00

Belle, Elsa, Ariel, Moana Princess Camp - $85.00

We take two of little girls’ favorite books and combine them into one unique (fancy word for one-of-a- kind) camp. Imagine the adventurous fun she’ll have at this summer camp filled with fun crafts, pirouettes (fancy ballet name for spins), tea parties, dress-up in “pinkalicious” accessories and much more! Please dress your camper in clothes they can move in and no shoes. Also pack a light snack and water each day.

Beach Bash & Tumble Camp - $85.00

Ages 7-10, 9:30-11:30am

Ages 4-6, 11:30 – 1:30pm

Join us for a three-day tumbling, beach bash and dance camp. We will learn correct tumbling skills daily, have fun doing current hip-hop dances with a beach theme. This is a great camp for boys and girls. Please dress your camper in clothes they can move in and no shoes. Also pack a light snack and water each day.
