Friends Meeting
Join us in weekly "unprogrammed" meeting for worship. We meet online. On the second Sunday of each month we also meet in-person at the 1912 Center in Moscow, Idaho. Online attenders are included, too.
"Unprogrammed" means our meeting has no established minister. Rather, we follow the tradition of sitting together in silence until anyone of us feels compelled to speak (minister) for spiritual, personal or humanitarian reasons.
A leading to share one's thoughts may come to any one of us. These words are often of help to others and are not intended to lead to discussion. This kind of Meeting is always a venture of faith. We invite you to share in our Meeting for Worship.
After the close of Meeting and announcements, there is a social time with check-ins, and you are welcome to ask us any questions you may have.
For more specifics about what Friends believe and how Friends conduct their meetings a good source on information is the North Pacific Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice.
And if you have any questions about our Meeting, or Quakerism (The Religious Society of Friends), feel free to inquire through our Contact Us page.
If you would like to be added to our monthly email list, which includes an online meeting link, reach us through our Contact Us page.
