I love to CODE! I don't like playing video games, but I love the idea of being able to make my own apps! And I have always loved puzzles. Coding is a cross between playing a video game and solving a puzzle. All of the sites below are free. While we do the Hour of Code every year, I want you, my students, to learn how to code and practice every day so you can make apps to help me in my old age!
First CHALLENGE: Can you learn Scratch Jr, and make me a replica of the real Pell Library?
Scratch Jr. Scratch Jr. allows students to learn step by step how to make different environments and characters and then program them to move. Its starts from easy to more difficult, but it is fun fun fun!
