Tuning
Tuning an instrument is an important part of being able to play an instrument.
You'll use your instrument's fine tuners and the Tuner (preloaded on your iPad).
However, if your instrument is very out of tune, do NOT use the pegs:
1) Tell me in class or Leave your instrument for me at the school when I'm there. (SB -Mon mornings, Tues, Wed; AWR- Mon afternoons, Thur, Fri)
2) Email me to let me know.
The preloaded tuners you can use are:
Violin Simply Tuner
Viola Simply Tuner
Cello Simply Tuner or Bass Tuner BT (if the C string is not working)
Bass Bass Tuner BT1
Bandmate Chromatic Tuner is another good one that can help with reading notes.
To Tune:
Right Tightey, Lefty Loosey
Turning to the right (tightening) raises the pitch A, A#, B, C.. or A, Bb, B, C, Db....
Turning to the left (loosening) lowers the pitch A, G#, G, F#.... or A, Ab, G, Gb...
