All About Me

I have lived in New Jersey since 1992.  Upon completion of my undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 2000, I taught 2nd grade in Berkeley Heights for 6 years.  During this time, I completed my Masters Degree in Reading from Kean University and went on to become a Reading Specialist, working in both the Berkeley Heights and Somerset Hills School Districts.  I began working in New Providence in 2014 as a Reading Specialist and Basic Skills Teacher. To further my knowledge in the field of Reading, I received a certification in Orton-Gillingham instruction in 2015.

When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and our 3 children; Jack (18), Charlotte (14) and Molly (10). We also have a Holland Lop bunny (Benny) and a Cavapoo (Callie). I enjoy running, spinning, and taking yoga and Hiit classes.

I look forward to another rewarding year working with students in reading and math at AWR!
