Welcome to Middle School

I have been part of the New Providence school district for over 20 years. My current role as a school counselor is to support students through adolescent development. Specifically, assisting students with their academic, social, and emotional needs. I help students with the process of transitioning from elementary school to middle school and again from middle school to high school. In addition to school counseling, I have a teaching background as a former Physical Education and Health teacher. I teach middle school social skills to the LLD class as well guest speaking to health classes regarding social media safety and digital citizenship.

There are many ways for students to communicate their feelings whether it's one on one or with various groups. We offer a gaming club and a pinterest for teens club. Each group runs during homeroom and lunch for 4-6 weeks. All are welcome to join.
