Computer Graphic Design I
Class Description
Computer Graphic Design I and II develop Visual Communication skills, creating art on both traditional and digital platforms. During the first half of the year(Graphic Design I), focus is placed on developing visual design strategies and awareness of Typography(study of letter forms), while using computer applications including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (two essential programs in the graphic design industry). In the second half of the year, students will produce posters digitally and create package design projects. Both classes meet the needs of the student who is interested in an art-related career, but there is value for all who want to refine their visual communication skills.
We will utilize Adobe Creative Suite including: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator which are used by industry professionals.
The Laser printer or the 3D printer will be used to construct physical products from student designs.
