All students can learn and it is of the utmost importance that educators supply all students with the resources and materials they need to achieve academically. Not only should educators ensure students have supports to be successful in academics but also in social situations, being able to communicate their wants and needs effectively across a range of environments. Instructors of students with special needs should also ensure that students can live their lives as unrestricted as possible. This should be achieved by students being educated in the least restrictive environment, be supported in their academic journey with appropriate accommodations and modifications that allow them to achieve goals that prepare them for their lives outside of the classroom environment. Students deserve to be taught in the least restrictive environment that would still facilitate their learning.
