ATTENTION HARVEY CAST:

Harvey Rehearsals this week: Tues. 9/28 & Thur. 9/30 3-6pm

Harvey

The affable Elwood P. Dowd has developed a life of contentment that he shares with his best friend: a 6-foot-tall pooka rabbit. But his eccentric ways are increasingly threatening to his sister’s social aspirations, and she resolves to have him committed to a sanitarium…until plans go awry and she ends up being committed instead. Winner of the 1945 Pulitzer Prize, this classic comedy challenges our assumptions of what – and who – is “normal,” and whether that’s something we want to be anyhow.

Auditions for Harvey will take place on Monday 9/20 @ 3:30pm in the Auditorium. All audition info will be posted here, on the Drama callboard, and in Classroom later this week. Please check back or see Mr. Duke for updates.

Also, please review a sample rehearsal schedule below. We will develop a similar rehearsal schedule based on student participation and availability.

Seussical

March 11, 12, 18, & 19 2022

Seussical is based on the works of Dr. Seuss and weaves together his most famous tales and characters from at least fifteen of his books. The show follows the adventures of Horton, an elephant who one day hears voices coming from a speck of dust. He soon discovers that within this tiny speck exists the smallest planet in the universe! On this tiny planet live a tiny race of creatures known as Whos. Although ridiculed by the other animals in the Jungle of Nool for believing in something he cannot see, Horton stubbornly persists in his belief that the Whos exist. Traveling everywhere from the Jungle of Nool to McEligott’s Pool, some of the characters fall in love, some have desperate adventures, and some even save the world.

Musical Auditions begin the week of Nov. 22!

All audition info will be posted here, on the Drama callboard, and in Classroom in the coming weeks.

Please check back or see Mr. Duke for updates.
