Radium Girls

by D.W. Gregory

Nov. 17 @ 7:30pm  Nov. 18 @ 2:00pm & 7:30pm

The year is 1926. Marie Curie’s newly discovered radium is used to cure arthritis, cancer, and America’s desire for a miracle tonic. When radium watches hit the market, hundreds of women are hired to paint watch dials. It’s a dream come true, until they become afflicted with a strange illness.  Radium Girls is a fast-paced play  with a small ensemble playing multiple roles in this poignant and true story of the “shining women” who fought for justice in an ignorant world.
