PTA Membership

The PTA membership fee is $12.00 per member. We are always accepting new members. This year, all our membership is being done virtually. The site accepts debit and credit cards. We appreciate your membership which allows us to help our students and teachers during the school year. The website address is below. Thank you for your support!!

Please note, in order to volunteer at PTA sponsored events, you MUST be a member.

Volunteer Clearances

Recently, Pennsylvania law expanded school volunteer clearance requirements. Adults applying for or holding an unpaid position as a volunteer with a child care service, a school or a program, activity or service responsible for a child’s welfare or having direct volunteer contact with children, will need the following clearances submitted every FIVE years:

Act 34 - PA State Police Criminal Record Check https://epatch.pa.gov/
Act 151 - PA Child Abuse History https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home (can take up to 14 days)
Act 114 - FBI Clearance https://www.identogo.com/locations/pennsylvania to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting. On the website - click digital fingerprinting, then enter code 1KG6XN.
- There is a fee of approximately $25 for this service.

Once you have all of your clearances, please submit them to Kendra Bendyk in the office at kbendyk@npsd.org so that they can be kept on file. Thank you!

Anyone without clearances on file with NPI, will not be able to volunteer in our school.

Reflections

The 2026–2027 Reflections theme is What My Culture Means to Me.

Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. For information, entry forms, and rules, please visit papta.org and click on Reflections. Students may enter as many times as they wish in all six categories.

*Each entry needs its own completed entry form.
