The sea pulled me in
with cold hands and restless waves.
The water stung my skin with salt,
yet somehow felt comforting.
Above me, the sky stretched forever,
painted in dark blues and fading gold.
The waves rose and fell like breathing,
slow and heavy
as if the ocean itself were alive.
When I slipped beneath the surface,
the world became silent.
No voices, no noise,
only the steady sound of water
moving around like a heartbeat.
Seaweed swayed silently around my ankles
like lost hands reaching through the water
while the waves whispered weary warnings
into the endless dark.
The ocean became a mirror for my mind,
holding every fear beneath its surface.
Its waves were wandering wolves,
restless and roaring against the lonely shore
as the fading sky swallowed the last light whole.

Salt in the air, yeah the waves got me gliding.
Feet hit the shore, now I'm straight up vibing.
Sun on my back, hear the seagulls crying.
Dive in deep, feel the whole world quieting.
Splash with the crew, yeah the tide keeps rising.
Beach day flow got the ocean inside me.

The world is hushed, a blanket white and deep
Where silent snowflakes softly, slowly creep.
The trees like ancient sentinels stand tall,
Their branches filled with frost, embracing all.
A crystal carpet covers fields and lanes,
Reflecting skies of soft, ethereal rains.
The air a sharp, sweet kiss on the cheek
As winter's quiet magic starts to speak.
A hint of pine, a frosty, clean perfume and
Breath-like clouds that banish winter's gloom.
by Jacob Tessitore
Dew builds on the grass,
Shimmering under the light,
As a cool wind blows.
An orange sunrise ensues,
Glorious and gold,
Lighting up the horizon.
A single pale rose,
Lovely, beautiful, and sweet,
But sharp nonetheless.
