Spirit week 2019 was undoubtedly a week to remember! It was a week of fun and creative days filled with school spirit. This year we celebrated USA Day, Hawaiian Day, Character Day, Decades Day, and, of course, Blue and Gold Day!
For USA Day, NHS’s patriotic side showed with all of the red, white, and blue worn. It was a party in the USA!
On Hawaiian Day, we enjoyed seeing the many students and teachers wearing flower crowns, leis, and Hawaiian shirts.
From Olaf to Spongebob, students of NHS definitely showed off their creative sides. Character Day was a day filled with funny and unique character ideas. Some crowd favorites, seen here, were characters from Victorious, The PowerPuff Girls, and Disney's 101 Dalmatians with Cruella De Vil and one of her dalmatians.
Next on Decades Day, we saw various looks from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Some staples were scrunchies, leg warmers, and fanny packs.
Finally, ending off the week we had Blue and Gold Day and the Pep Rally! Everyone came together to show off their school spirit, while we celebrated the senior athletes, watched amazing dance performances, and played fun games all in the gymnasium.
