We exist to:
Provide resources to assist staff in addressing their health and wellness needs.
To communicate, participate, motivate, support and offer opportunities for holistic health and wellness for staff of NPS through our Wellness Website and initiatives.
Ensure that wellness is systemic and not just an individual endeavor.
Identify the indicators of holistic wellness for NPS staff.
Setting up, monitoring and revising structures or practices that support wellness.
Remove barriers to systemic staff wellness while implementing sustainable structures and supports.
To collaborate with community partners to offer and support opportunities for holistic health and wellness.
To assist in building positive communities and relationships within the schools.
What we do:
Commit to putting systems in place at NPS to support all staff, groups of staff, and individuals
Provide regular opportunities for staff feedback and input
Use staff feedback and other relevant information to create structures and/or systems to support a culture and climate for staff wellness
Consider all resources, even those outside NPS, when generating ideas and solutions
Effectively communicate resources to staff
Help create and promote environments that allow for genuine care and concern to be expressed.
