Class Dojo - Class Dojo is a class behavior management system designed around positive reinforcement. Each student is assigned a dojo character and can earn points for things such as homework, participation, and staying on task. You can easily forward to parents so they can see what their child did well that day.

Padlet - This is a fun way for discussion, brainstorming and just getting feedback from students and parents. You can create a "wall" which poses a question or has a general topic. Students or parents can then go to the wall and add a post about the subject. Try it out by posting what information you would like me to add to this site or what training you would like to see offered and when.

Educandy is a game builder. To use the template you simply provide a list of words or terms and Educandy does the rest. Your game will be assigned its own URL that you can distribute to your students.

Stuart Stories - This site offers lots of short stories for ages 3-15. Even better is the activities section with "Finish Me Stories", "Frankenstein Stories", "Machine Stories, and "Ten Word Stories".

Story Jumper - Student's can create books on-line with choices of settings, characters, props and even photos. Whether your students struggle with writing and need help getting started or are able to complete the writing and needs a creative outlet to present this site is lots of fun!

Whooo's Reading - Motivate your students to read every night, encourage them to write for their audience of classmates, and assess their reading comprehension from your phone, tablet, or computer.

Wordle - Need a way to teach summarizing test? Try wordle! copy the text into wordle and a word splash is produced. The more a word appears in the text the larger it is in the word splash. This can help student generate big ideas without getting stuck on how to reword a sentence when it is in front of them but to come up with their own.

Piclit - Provides great exposure to parts of speech, Write Traits, as well as assisting with writers block. The site provides a word bank for students to use to tell about a picture. There is also the ability to free write.

Splash. ABC - This site is from Australia. It contains some wonderful materials such as videos, audio and games. Careful using any money activities since the site is Australia based.

Prodigy - Free resource for practicing grade 1-8 math skills. The program is adaptive and caters to individual needs. Provides data to teachers to help formulate instruction.




PRESENTING

Prezi - check out a new fun way to present. They offer teachers and students with valid school accounts the mid-level service free.

Animoto - This is another great way to present pictures of events happening in your classroom. Presentations are 3-D, animated and easily set to music. They do offer an educators account but you must go to the bottom of the page and select Education under the heading "Animoto for"

Emaze - Not sure if you want Prezi or Google slides? Emaze is the happy medium it offers both linear and dynamic templates.

Haiku Deck - A linear presentation software the tracks progress of the presentation along the bottom as well as making it easy to go back and forth several slides

PowToon - This presentation software uses a cartoon style theme to give presentations a different wow factor

Pear Deck - A Google Slides Add-on that allows you to insert interactive questions into slideshows


EXECUTIVE FUNCTION

Wunderlist - Both and app and a website that sync, this offers a way to keep you organized with your chore list and it is free.

Remember the Milk - a simple way to keep track or assignments and tasks. It allows others, such as parents and teachers, to have access to your list to help out.

Stayfocused - allows you to set a timer for how long you can stay on a site and block sites.


FUNDING

Digital Wish - Looking for some technology but need help? This site connects those looking to donate to schools and allows them to select the teacher and project they want to fund. Place a request and just maybe you will get the funding for your technology!
