About Me
Hi class, my name is Mrs. Kemper.
I am one of the Librarian at Blair & I get to teach some tech classes too! I can’t wait to meet you and find out what tools you already have in your digital tool box. We are going to have fun exploring fun ways to create and share info and content digitally together.
Although I was born in San Diego, I grew up in North Central Florida where I graduated from the University of Florida, GO GATORS! 10 years ago my family moved to Virginia Beach where my two children have attended school, learned to surf, seen snow for the first time, and gone on many camping trips in the area. They are starting 6th and 9th grade this Fall.
My mother lives with the four of us and our two dogs. Most weekends you can find us all pilled into the living room with a bowl of popcorn and pizza watching a movie together or playing a board game.
This will be my fourth year teaching and I can't wait to spend it with you!

Who would you most like to sit next to on a 10hr flight? Why?
Ms. Still from guidance. She is a great conversationalist if you ever feel like talking to someone. 10 hours would go by so fast, next think you know you would be at your destination. BUT you might have sore abs from laughing so much.

You have $100 to burn, all your friends and family are busy, and you have the whole day to yourself. What do you do?
I would go buy some fresh baked goods like doughnuts or muffins with a hot cup of tea. I would go eat those somewhere with a nice view like the beach if the weather was comfortable. Next I would get a massage, with a pedicure, make it a real spa day, with all the works. By then I would be hungry again so I would eat a big Italian meal with garlic bread, and pasta. Then to finish my day I'd go see a movie and have a big tub of popcorn all to myself with M&M's sprinkled in the bucket.

What's your favorite season and why?
Fall, It feels all snuggly in Fall clothes. I love the leaves changing colors and it's not too hot or too cold yet.
