Stand and Deliver

The Stand & Deliver program provides leadership and communication skills training to over 400 middle and high school age students at over 20 Greater Newark area locations. Since its inception, Stand & Deliver workshops have focused on such areas as social communication; the value of public speaking; preparing for speeches and recognizing the connection between effective communication and leadership. Simply put, oral communication skills are essential to the success of young adults in a highly competitive job market. Stand & Deliver is a change agent that will help provide these young adults with the necessary skills to fully participate in the workforce, lead and facilitate change and document important civic issues.
