I currently teach 7th grade, Introduction to Business Technology. I also have the pleasure of running both the Yearbook Club and Journalism Club.
Since I can remember my passion has always been in education. I love making connections with each individual student and helping them in their education journey. One of my favorite things is when students have 'light bulb' moments.
I’ve always loved writing, and so I knew journalism was perfect for me. I also had a lot of teachers say I would do great journaling. Personally I believe I am a very creative writer, and this club should hopefully help me get even better at it.
I am 12 years old, and I hope to publish books one day. I have already written two books (not published yet) and I am working on a third book for the series I started, and my friend and I are working on the first book in a series we are making together. The first book I wrote was one I started on when I was about seven, but left it alone for a few years, but when I was older I began to work on it again.
I am also a huge people person, and I am really excited to interview people and meet new, inspiring people that I can write about. I love to write (obviously) and I have a good sense of humor. I also play the violin, do soccer, volleyball, and vocal music. Another thing about me is that I love to cook and bake. I can also speak a lot of Spanish, and just started learning Greek.
