Poster Session 1 was on Wednesday and featured 24 posters! On the left we see Kacy, Samuel, and Abigail, who are presenting their project, "Measuring Atmospheric Cosmic Ray Profiles with Balloon Payload and Radiacode Scintillator" to Dr. Da Silva from the Physics Department.
Tyler, Joseph, Colton, and Diego (back) presented on "A Ground-Penetrating Radar System for the Differentiation of Buried Treasure," under the supervision of Dr. Scott Teare from the Electrical Engineering Department.
Susanna, on the left, is an undergraduate student in the Physics Department, working with Dr. Leal and here presenting on "Multi-Instrument Observation of Lightning with Continuing Current in New Mexico." On the right we see Gavin, a MechE, presenting on "Dual Jet Heat Flow using Fire Dynamics Simulator, " under the supervision of Dr. Wei.
Still Poster Session 1! On the left we see Isabella and Aidan, presenting their project, "Microstructural Characterization of AlCoCrFeNi2.1 Eutectic High-Entropy Alloy Under Thermo-Mechanical Processing ," to Dr. Wei from Mechanical Engineering. Behind them is Xavier, whose poster had to do with "The Impact on Classroom Environments on Student Learning and Well-Being," a project developed with Dr. McCullough.
