Thursdays 4 PM - 5 PM

11/20 - learn about the events and students submit preferences

12/4 - assign events

12/11 - start to prepare

12/18 (no meeting, last day before winter break)

 Science Olympiad Information

• Science Olympiad is an extracurricular activity. Teams members practice for 3-4 events and then compete with other schools in the area at the regional and/or state tournament (s) on February 7, 2026 and February 28, 2026. Students must be available on the competition days in order to participate and a parent/guardian MUST stay with their child at the competitions.

• Planning and preparatory meetings will be held after school on Thursdays after school.  Participants are encouraged to prepare for their events outside of these meetings as well by coordinating with their event partners. 

• Partners are assigned after joining the team.

• Most students will participate in 2-4 events and we will have planning meetings in November and December where participants can express preferences. See this year's events by scrolling down on this page.

• The regional tournament is held at Mounds View High; the state tournament is held at Bethel University. We will have a team clubhouse.

• Team is formed on a first-come, first-served basis. Register through Nova Classical's Activities page starting on October 28, 2025.
