Log onto Khan Academy:

• You will receive an assignment from your homeroom teacher by the end of the day
• You should be receiving assignments from the Unit: Get Ready for 3rd Grade
  • This is a unit that will prepare you for 3rd grade math
• If you have not received anything, let me know!

Yesterday you should have completed the reading comprehension "Max's Big Adventure". In class, we will read it together and discuss the answers. I have attached it for your reference so you can have it open and follow along.

Continue with your Google Slide presentation on The Brain. Here are the instructions for the presentation again:

• You will have a presentation on The Brain that is due Friday, September 11
• You will create a Google Slide; click HERE to open it up if you cannot find it
• Research anything about the brain (fun facts, all about the brain) and add pictures
  • Use GetEpic for book resources, Google, or www.kiddle.co
• Make a short presentation (about 3-4 slides) using pictures and fun facts about the brain
• You will present them to your homeroom class on Friday!
