Meet the Director:
Hello! I am Carrie Smith and I am the director of bands at Nottoway High School! I grew up in Powhatan County, only a little ways away from Nottoway! I graduated from Bridgewater College in 2020 with my BA in Music Education and my emphasis is on Flute! For the first 2 years of my career, I got the amazing opportunity to work as the NMS/NIS band director. I am so excited to move up to NHS this year and have big, but achievable goals for the band program! My main goal is always to have fun, followed by excellence in music. I hope your student learns a lot and has fun along the way!
