Dear 3C Families,

Welcome to third grade! My name is Kristen Cloutier, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year at Nottingham School. I look forward to getting to know each student and helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the year.

I have been teaching since 2000 and have spent most of my career looping between third and fourth grade. These grades have always held a special place in my heart because students develop so much independence, confidence, and curiosity during these years.

This year marks my sixth year at Nottingham School. During my first three years here, I taught kindergarten, and I am now beginning my third year in third grade. I have loved being part of the Nottingham community and building relationships with students and families.

I earned my Master's degree from the University of New Hampshire and am passionate about helping all students find success. Every child learns in their own unique way, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is discovering what works best for each learner. I enjoy creating lessons that are engaging, hands-on, and meaningful so that all students can feel confident, challenged, and successful.

My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe, respected, and excited to learn each day. I want every child to know that mistakes are part of learning, questions are always welcome, and hard work is something to be proud of. Most importantly, I hope our classroom becomes a place where students feel valued and supported as they grow.

I believe that a strong partnership between home and school is one of the keys to a successful year. Open communication is very important to me, and I encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions, concerns, or simply want to share something about your child. Together, we can help make this a positive and rewarding year.

Thank you for sharing your child with me. I am excited for the year ahead!

Kristen
