Meet the Teacher

Dear First Grader and Family, 

My name is Ms. Medeiros and I am very excited to be welcoming you to our First Grade Family at Nottingham Elementary School. I am thrilled to be your teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning, community building, and fun!

I can’t wait to learn all about you, but first I’ll tell you a little about myself. I love to cook, dance, and play video games (Zelda games are my favorite!). I live in Madbury NH with my boyfriend Owen. We are both recent University of New Hampshire graduates. Go wildcats! I have my bachelor’s degree from UNH in child development and my master’s from UNH in elementary education. This will be my second year teaching first grade at Nottingham School. Prior to this, I taught intervention In Exeter NH, and student taught in a third grade classroom in Dover NH.

There is so much that I am looking forward to this year. We will learn together, work through challenges together, and form new friendships. My goal is to make you feel safe and welcomed every day, so we can all do our best work this year! The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 27th. Please remember to bring your school supplies with you if you were able to get them over the summer. The supply list and my contact information is on the back of this letter. I hope you have a great summer and enjoy time with your friends and family! See you in August!
