Curriculum Cycle
Wheeler High School/ Middle School has been working on curriculum documents since 2015. There is a need to reevaluate and assess our approaches to education constantly.
By following a cyclical model for existing and new curriculum, we are able to be responsive to all stakeholders. As the curriculum is rewritten to follow the new template and revision cycle, it will be posted.
These rubrics are used to assess student skills in: Analysis, Collaboration, Communication and Literacy across disciplines. These are embedded into curriculum documents, daily instruction and assessment. These expectations are reflected in our Vision of the Graduate
This rubric is used to asses the ways in which Wheeler students demonstrate: Respect , Responsibility and Resiliency. These Social Civic Expectations are a portion of our Vison of the Graduate and represent the ideals we hope all Wheeler students work toward form grades 7-12
