Students LOVE GoNoodle! There are all kinds of videos for them to sing, dance, exercise, and act silly with. In my room we use these as a reward or just a brain break because they need to move around and get those wiggles out. Here is the family access site. Have Fun!

*For the indoor scavenger hunt either have your parent fill out the sheet of things around the house that start with that letter and you go on a hunt for them or you (include siblings on this and make it a race) see who can fill up the list with items you find on your own first. Have fun!

Mo Willems is the author and illustrator of some of our favorite classroom books. He does a Lunch Doodles show where he shows kids how to draw some of his characters. We have had a lot of fun in class taking time to experiment with drawing our story characters and the students love it! Libby is a free app where you can borrow ebooks and digital audiobooks from your public library. You can stream books with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is a library card. (Thanks Carter for the resource)

Parents, if you are currently not in a relationship with Pinterest I highly recommend you start one ;) I say relationship because it can suck you in and occupy much of your time (haha). All kidding aside this is a great place to find ideas and activities to do with your kids. Cooking is a great way for your child to practice math and reading skills while learning valuable life skills. "Recipes for kids" is the search I have pictured and it has sooo many awesome ideas!
