It is a privilege to serve as Treasurer of Norwayne Local Schools and to continue the District's longstanding tradition of responsible financial management. I believe our resources should be managed with purpose—to best support our students and District today while planning for the needs of tomorrow.
My goal is for the Treasurer's Office to be approachable, responsive, and committed to finding answers and solutions when questions or challenges arise.
School finance can be complicated, but transparency shouldn't be. This page is designed to make Norwayne's financial information more accessible and give our community greater insight into the resources and decisions that support our District.

Norwayne Local Schools received approximately $17 million in operating revenue in FY26. Nearly 90% came from three primary sources: State Foundation funding, local property taxes, and the District’s earned income tax.

Norwayne Local Schools spent approximately $16.2 million in operating expenses in FY26. More than 75% of those expenses supported salaries and benefits for the people who serve our students and operate the District each day.

What about the $800,000 difference?In FY26, revenues exceeded expenditures by approximately $800,000. This amount became part of the District's cash balance, helping maintain financial stability and prepare for future years when expenses are projected to exceed revenues.
