We have a very busy month here are all the activities:

Our school year is coming to an end; please remember to check your child’s folder every night. We need to continue to teach the children about responsibility and prepare them for 2nd grade. There is a summer packet coming home with your child on the last day of school. Please continue to work with your child at home on all of the skills that we have learned. It is important to work with your child during the summer to keep their skills sharp!
Thank you for your help and support in making this a successful 1st grade year! I want to thank all of you for all your donations. We really appreciated it!

What We Are Learning This Month:
In reading, we are learning about diphthongs (ou, ow, oy and oi).
In math, we are learning about reason with shapes and their attributes and equal shares of circles and rectangles. Please continue to practice your math facts flash cards.
In science, social studies or health, we are leaning about summer safety and reviewing all the 7 habits.
