What is Parent University?

The mission of Norwalk Parent University is to provide parents/families with experiences to create a lasting learning partnership that will transfer to positive outcomes for our students.

Goal #1

Provide opportunities for parents and community to engage in the learning process as active participants in the education of our students.

Goal #2

Create an environment for parents and community that provides access to needed services and resources.

How Does Parent University Work?

Families enrolled in Parent University have the opportunity to attend collaborative learning sessions with their students.

Sessions are designed both to be either LIVE presentations with Q&A or pre-recorded informational sessions about the various technologies and activities students are using at Norwalk Public Schools.

All sessions are designed to be family oriented and attended by all members of the family.
