ENRICHMENT

This year's enrichment project will focus on the court yard garden. Last year Red Team started by growing plants from seeds in the spring and transplanting for a beautiful summer garden. This year we are working with Yale house. This fall we cleaned up the flower beds, saved tons of seeds (especially sunflower seeds) and dug up the cannas and gladiolas. We have planted several hundred tulips and daffodils. The chickadees are visiting the feeder and one lone squirrel.

This spring we will be starting plants from seed and hoping to start a sunflower field behind the science classrooms.
