How to Submit and Submission Details:

Please note that not all work submitted will be published.

• • Submissions must be from writers currently ages 12 - 19

  • To submit literature, fill out this Google Form

    • When submitting turn into a Google Doc and make sure everyone with the link has access 

    • Deadline to submit for this current submission period is Friday, January 16th, 2026.  Work submitted after then will be read and reviewed for the next publication.

  • General Literature Guidelines 

    • 12pt Times New Roman

    • Library appropriate language

    • No sexual content (anything past kissing is a no no)

    • No hate towards a specific person or group of people (LGBTQ, religions, races, etc.)

    • The TLC and the library staff have the final say if something is appropriate for the magazine or not

  • Poetry

    • 3 poems per person quarterly

    • No more than 5 pages per poem

    • Font may be between the sizes 8-30 and may change during the poem

  • Essays

    • 2 essays per person quarterly

    • MLA format and citations 

      • MLA Guide 

    • 2000 words or less per essay

    • Serious topics are fine as long as you are respectful and considerate

  • Short Stories

    • 2 short stories per person quarterly

    • 3000 words or less per story
