How will this subject benefit me?

Geometry & Measure - Working with angles, area, volume and trigonometry
Probability - Calculating likelihood of combinations of uncertain events
Statistics - Presenting meaningful conclusions about data
Who is this course appropriate for?
GCSE (9 - 1) Mathematics is suitable for all students. The Foundation tier syllabus will provide a solid core of numerical understanding whilst the Higher tier will provide rigour and challenge for those students wishing to pursue technical subjects beyond GCSE.

What opportunities will this give me?
A grade 4 pass in GCSE Mathematics is required by further educations colleges and sixth forms for any course of study. Most employers also expect candidates to have a good result in GCSE Mathematics.
