The NHS Joseph G. Dery History Honor Society is an honor society for the recognition of excellence in social studies at the high school level. This society is open to juniors and seniors who meet the membership entrance criteria. The NHS History Honor Society began in 2012 and has been affiliated with both state and national chapters. Our society utilizes the national entrance criteria and membership standards set and maintained by the National Council for the Social Studies.
