This website has been created to provide incoming grade 6 students and parents with information about Norton Middle School. This site will hopefully give you a window into the day to day student experience at NMS. There are many videos and links. I encourage you to explore each of them.

Under normal circumstances, I would have already met with students at the Yelle School and they would have already visited NMS, have toured the building and enjoyed watching an in-school performance of this year's Drama production. These events are then followed by an incoming grade 6 Parent Night.

Our intention is to closely watch and follow the latest recommended safety guidelines throughout the summer. It is my hope that these meaningful, important transitional activities can occur in person. Until then I hope the resources contained on this site help to answer some questions and familiarize yourself with our school.
