The Norton High School Music Program is dedicated to fostering a love of music in all students to inspire life-long learning. Under the direction of Alexandra Wright, the NHS program includes a variety of ensembles for students of all skill levels. The department strives to create a supportive environment where students can develop their musical talents, build friendships, and gain confidence. At any level, you can find a course that is right for you!
Ms. Alexandra Wright is going into her seventh year of teaching music. This is her fourth year at Norton High School. She loves teaching chorus and continues to take private singing lessons herself. She teaches guitar, piano, drama, and loves modern band ensembles. When she is not running a rehearsal or organizing content for classes, she is outside running, hiking, walking her dog, or reading. She has her Bachelor's of Music in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Ithaca College and a Master's of Music in Music Education from Boston University. Additionally, she runs a private lesson program, teaching guitar and voice to students of all levels. Please reach out to Ms. Wright for all inquiries.
