I am 33 years old and live in Norwood. I have two older brothers and am a proud auntie to Maggie, Noah, Drew, and Ryan. I adopted an orange cat (O'Malley) and a Siamese cat (Rory). In my free time (which doesn't come around often!), I like to exercise, read, watch TV, travel, cook, clean, sleep, watch sports, go to concerts, and hang out with my friends and family. I love the Bruins, macaroni and cheese, reality television, and Elf.
I grew up in Norton, MA my entire life - which means, yes, I am a graduate of the J.C. Solmonese School, H.A. Yelle School, Norton Middle School, and Norton High School! After I graduated from Norton, I was accepted into the University of New Hampshire 5-year educator program. I now hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Teaching and a Master's of Education in Secondary English Education. I also studied abroad and attended the University of Limerick, Ireland for a semester in the spring of 2013.
This will be my 11th year as an English teacher at Norton and my 12th year teaching (I taught at Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine in 2015).
I am also the National Honor Society advisor, Newspaper Club advisor, Class of 2029 advisor, and work full time every summer at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, where I just finished my 12th summer.
I previously coached the NHS Cheerleading team for 8 years, advised the Class of 2024, advised the National English Honor Society, and was a New Teacher Mentor.
