I have been a special needs teacher in the public schools for over 20 years. I attended Framingham State University and received a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I went on to receive my master's degree in Special Education through Simmon's College. I previously taught in Franklin, MA and Randolph, MA before coming to teach at Norton Middle School. This will be my 16th year teaching at the middle school.
I have been married to my husband Jim for 25 years and have two children, Colin and Caitlin. We also have a dog named Benny. Our family enjoys spending time in Maine and New Hampshire with our extended family in the summer. In addition we enjoy traveling to different parts of the country whenever we have a chance. I also enjoy spending time at the beach, gardening, walking, running, kyaking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
