Hello, First Grade friends!  I'm Mrs. Chance and I am very excited to start first grade with you!  This will be my 19th year teaching. I have taught Title Reading, Talented and Gifted classes and second grade. 

First grade is departmentalized. I will teach math and phonics to my class and Mrs. Gilles' class. Mrs. Gilles will be teaching Reading and Writing to my class. 

I'll use this web page to let you know what is happening in our classroom and to showcase some of our most impressive projects.
