College Admissions Testing

SAT- standardized test used by many colleges for admittance

SAT Subject Tests- curriculum based standardized test used by highly competitive colleges, look at your schools admission criteria to see if taking this test is required for admission.

ACT- standardized test used by many colleges for admittance

AP Tests- some colleges will offer course credit for AP test scores of 3, 4, or 5. See AP Central for information about your specific college/university

Accuplacer- a placement test some colleges use after enrollment, all of our local community colleges use this test for Math and English placement.

Military Testing

ASVAB- The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test, which is given at over 14,000 schools and Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) nationwide and is developed and maintained by the Department of Defense. Practice test available.
