We use practical strategies to connect people to good food, to advocate on behalf of those in need, and to engage others in the work of building food security.
Beverly Bootstraps was first established in 1992 as a food pantry in the basement of the First Baptist Church. With the generous support of our donors, volunteers and the community at large, we have grown to be a leading social service agency on the North Shore.
GBFB is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and among the largest food banks in the country. Last year, we distributed 57.7 million pounds of nutritious food to people who struggle to have enough to eat.
