Current Lecture

In the Spring 2022 semester, Drs. Larry Davis and Kara Kaufman of the history department teamed up with Harvard University's Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies to bring scholars to their classes and the larger NSCC community to discuss the experiences of women in the Eastern front during World War II. 

This video is a conversation between Dr. Davis and Dr. Kaufman as they reflect upon what they learned both in terms of content and logistics. This program turned out to be more controversial than they thought it would be, since publicly discussing the content could have life-threatening ramifications on the scholars if not treated seriously.
