Academic Signing Day - Academic Signing Day
Caps & Gowns - Cap/Gown Orders Cap/Gown Unit Purchase Cap/Gown Unit MUST be purchased through Jostens. Orders should be placed early

Can I use my older sibling's cap and gown? No, we do not permit this as the color scheme may be slightly off. Each senior must have their own brand new cap & gown that is ordered through the Activities Office.
When do I pick up my cap and gown? Caps and gowns are distributed on Senior Checkout Day in May. More information to follow.

Commencement Practice
Thursday, May 30, 2024
Practice for Commencement is May 30, 2024 at 8:45 am in Gym 1. You will NOT need your gowns.
Commencement--
Friday, May 31, 2024
Commencement will be at Playhouse Square, State Theatre on May 31, 2024 at 7:00 pm Students must be in Gym 1 at 5:15 pm. Each graduate will receive 8 family tickets, an email will be sent outlining details.
Students who decide NOT to attend the Commencement Ceremony should complete this Commencement Wavier Form The Activities Department, located in the Main Office, will need the waiver completed, signed and returned to the office as soon as possible.
Diploma Verification
Report to the Activities Office if you have questions.

Prom
Saturday, May 25, 2024
The Prom will be on May 25, 2024 from 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm at Weymouth Country Club
May I bring an out-of-school guest to the prom? Yes, you may bring a guest that does not attend North Royalton High School. A Dance Guest Permission Form must be completed and returned before a ticket is issued.
After Prom
Saturday/Sunday May 25 & 26, 2024
After Prom will take place at the Strongsville Recreation Center from 10:30 pm until 2:30 am
Scholarships (Local)

Applications for Local Scholarships for the Class of 2024 will be available starting (Date TBD). There will be a local scholarship meeting ( Date and Time TBD) in the Media Center. The Senior Interview Team will consist of high school faculty and volunteer members from the business community or community at large. Please make every effort to dress professionally. A Senior Portfolio is also required, see below. Senior Pictures
Summer Session - July 17, 2023-July 20, 2023 times vary, in the English Hub
Make-ups September 22 in the PAC
Senior pictures are scheduled for July 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm, July 18, 2023 at 9:00 am, July 19, 2023 at 12:00 pm and July 20, 2023 at 9:00 am. You must schedule an appointment with the Activities Department in the Main Office at NRHS. The pictures are for the yearbook, dress appropriately. Note: NRHS uses Lifetouch National School Photos 1-800-736-4775. Contact Lifetouch if you wish to have your senior picture taken at a different time or you may e-mail Mr. Dietrich for further information. Most seniors choose to have their senior pictures taken during the summer before schools starts, see e-mails sent during the summer.
Senior Spotlight
We want to recognize you as you make your plans for life after graduation! Please complete the form HERE. You may only complete this form ONCE so it should be completed after you have committed to your plan. To see how the Senior Spotlight will look click HERE and scroll down.
In other words, complete this form after: 1. You have been accepted and committed to a college,2. You have secured an apprenticeship, 3. You have obtained a job in your chosen career field, OR 4. You have enlisted in the military.

Transcripts
Seniors must complete (Note: Not available until May) a Senior Graduation Survey in Naviance (click here) prior to Senior Check-out Day, currently scheduled for May 24, 2024 (subject to change). The Counseling Department will send your final transcript to the college you indicated on the survey within the first few weeks after graduation.
What if a Transcript needs to be sent to a college prior to graduation? If a Transcript needs to be sent prior to graduation, students must fill out a NRHS Transcript Request Form (click here) The request form is located on NRHS website, click Forms, click Transcript Release form for Current Students (scroll down, on right side of page) Link is above.
