Lab Practical

The NYS Earth Science Regents also include a lab practical assessment which is performed usually 1-2 weeks prior to the written exam date. 

This practical is broken up into 3 parts:

1. Identifying rocks and minerals

2. Drawing and interpreting an elliptical orbit

3. Locating an earthquake epicenter
