Library Media Goals

As a result of the North Rockland Central School District Library course of study, our graduates will:

• • 1. Select and use the appropriate research tools and techniques from all available Media Center resources.

    2. Identify and utilize subject specific reference tools pertaining to the curriculum.

    3. Employ an information skills strategy to initiate effective research.

    4. Utilize search strategies for research on the Internet.

    5. Develop an appreciation of literary genres.
