As we progress through the school year, we base our teaching, lesson plans, activities, and experiences on common themes that are developmentally appropriate for the preschool level. These themes are outlined to you in our two weeks at a glance and through communication with your child's classroom teachers!
Since we are not currently in the classroom, we've provided you with information, activity ideas, and links to resources that can continue theme-based learning at home!
Check out the tabs at the top of the page to access each theme.
Preschool Start-Up Packets
Upon registration, families will receive a Preschool Start-Up Packet. These Start-Up Packets contain worksheets that correlate with videos that teachers post each day as well as Individual Activity Sheets that students are required to complete for additional learning opportunities.
Preschool Start-Up Packets will be collected from families when we return to school on October 19th. Learning at the preschool level is highly based on interactions, experiences, and play. While the worksheets continue to target specific skills, the majority of what children learn at the preschool level is purely from the experiences they have. For this reason, we ask that the students view and participate with as many of the Videos and worksheets as possible.
