Staff Sergeant McNeece was born in Paris, Texas, he is the third and youngest child of Roger and Julie McNeece. In December of 2007, he married his childhood sweetheart Abby. They have four children together and currently live at Fort Benning GA.
In November of 2011, Staff Sergeant McNeece enlisted into the Army as an Infantry recruit. Upon completion of Infantry One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, Georgia, he was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 82nd Aviation Regiment, Pathfinder Company at Fort Bragg NC. While assigned to the Pathfinder Company SSG McNeece deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Resolute Support.
In December of 2016, SSG McNeece reported to the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana where he was assigned to Baker Company, 1st Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment. While assigned to Baker Company, SSG McNeece served as a Squad Leader and a Platoon Sergeant leading his Squad and Platoon as the Opposing Forces replicating a near peer enemy for Rotational Training Units conducting pre-deployment training.
In May of 2019, SSG McNeece was selected to serve as a Drill Sergeant. Upon graduation from Drill Sergeant School, SSG McNeece was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 29th Infantry Regiment, and 197th Infantry Brigade at Fort Benning, Georgia, where he currently serves as a Drill Sergeant.
