Select a book.

Open the book to any page, have your child locate sight words they know or ask them to find a letter.

Ask them: What was your favorite part? Why? Who was your favorite character? Why? Does it remind you of something that happened to you?

For fun: Have your child draw a picture of their favorite part to decorate the refrigerator.
