The first semester I co-teach our 5th Graders  in a Stem Elective known as "Launch"

The program empowers students to adopt a design-thinking mindset through compelling activities, projects, and problems that build upon each other and relate to the world around them. And as students engage in hands-on activities in computer science, and engineering,, they become creative, collaborative problem solvers ready to take on any challenge. 

The second semester I teach our 6th Graders  in a Stem Elective known as "Design & Modeling" 

Design & Modeling is a semester long course offering hands-on exposure to product development. The focus of this course encompasses the entire design process from idea conception to prototype development and testing. Some of the topics covered are:

·       What is Engineering?

·       How do we design?

·       Ideation & Brainstorming

·       Sketching & Dimensioning
