About

As a registered charity, the Hall is managed by a committee for the benefit of the community.

In 1905 it was known as the Reading Room. It was used as a place to meet by  the estate workers on four evenings a week from October to March. They would play games and cards, and read the daily newspapers brought especially for them from Alresford.

It was purchased by public subscription in July 1935 and belongs to the residents of the parish.

At the start of the century, the Rainbow Pre-School used the village hall each weekday morning.

It is now used for social events, and hired out for parties, weddings, meetings and exercise classes.  It is also used as a Polling Station.
