School Activities

NHP celebrated National Cookie Day on Friday, December 2nd. Students brought cookies from home and NHP’s elementary students added to their stash by baking chocolate chip cookies. Staff and kids pooled them together and shared them.  A very special thank you to Parent Maria Birdsong-Reyes for the beautiful and delicious cookies she made (pictured below).

Americans eventually began developing their own types of cookies, the chocolate chip cookie, being one of the most famous at all.

In 1987, Matt Nader of the San Francisco base blue chip cookie company created national cookie day, saying, “ It will just be a fun thing to do.”

Spirit Week

North Hills Prep’s students and staff had great fun dressing up for spirit week, winning prizes, and, if dressing up all five school days, earning lunch from Panda Express for participation. Way to show off your school spirit!
